The company conducts its operations through three main divisions: Technological Applications, Consumer Goods, and Service & Infrastructure. The Technological Applications segment is responsible for designing and manufacturing specialized machinery and automated manufacturing systems, with a strong emphasis on e-mobility solutions for automotive companies. It also develops and produces eco-friendly materials and integrated systems, mainly derived from hardwood, for the automotive and railway industries. Additionally, this division supplies polyurethane and epoxy resin-based materials for tooling purposes to a diverse clientele, including suppliers, model builders, car manufacturers, foundries, and other industrial enterprises. The Consumer Goods segment focuses on creating and distributing various paper tissue products, such as bulk tissue rolls, napkins, facial tissues, toilet paper, and kitchen rolls, both under its own "aha" brand and for numerous private labels. This segment also manufactures mattresses and other flexible items made from polyether foam. The Service & Infrastructure division provides IT security and cloud computing services. Furthermore, it operates in the engineering sector, specifically designing pipelines and industrial plants for natural gas, electricity grids, and hydrogen applications. MBB SE was founded in 1995 and its corporate headquarters are situated in Berlin, Germany.
