Further, it is involved in the provision of asset management and oil vessel renting services; manufacture and distribution of plastic resins; operation of vocational schools; distribution of non-woven fabric products and medical consumables; and distribution of petrochemical products, as well as power plant, jetty, and other utilities operations. The company was formerly known as Thai Petrochemical Industry Public Company Limited and changed its name to IRPC Public Company Limited in October 2006.
