The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) are invested in securities of small capitalization companies. The fund manager considers a company to be a small capitalization company if it has a market capitalization, at the time of investment, within the range of the market capitalizations of the companies in the Russell 2000® Index.
