VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coppernico Metals Inc. (TSX: COPR, OTCQB: CPPMF, FSE: 9I3) (“Coppernico” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce additional surface channel sampling results from the Nioc target area at its Sombrero copper-gold Project in Peru. These results expand the known surface footprint of copper-gold mineralization at Zone 2, and materially de-risk initial drill targeting decisions by demonstrating continuous, high-grade skarn mineralization across a broad footprint directly above a large, coherent geophysical anomaly.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coppernico Metals Inc. (TSX: COPR, OTCQB: CPPMF, FSE: 9I3) (“Coppernico” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an exploration update on the Tipicancha epithermal-porphyry copper-gold target at its Sombrero Project in Peru. Geological mapping has defined a large hydrothermal alteration footprint containing locally developed advanced argillic cores (Figure 1), now extending over more than four kilometres (“km”), consistent with a district-scale hydrothermal framework with potential for a porphyry-related source at depth (Figure 2). Shallow excavation sampling has confirmed near-surface copper enrichment and further refined the continuity of the sulfide-rich hydrothermal horizon. Ongoing mapping increasingly defines vertical and lateral alteration zonation and structural controls which will inform the upcoming drill program.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coppernico Metals Inc. (TSX: COPR, OTCQB: CPPMF, FSE: 9I3) (“Coppernico” or the “Company”), is pleased to announce that it has acquired an option on mineral concessions aggregating 600 hectares (“ha”) adjacent to its Tipicancha target at its Sombrero Project in Peru. The optioned concessions (the “Horizonte Concessions”) are located in an area where the Company's expanding Tipicancha epithermal-porphyry system is believed to continue beyond the boundaries of the current Sombrero Project. In 2025, while in discussions regarding the Horizonte Concessions, Coppernico staked an additional 1,400 ha of surrounding mineral concessions. Together, these concessions substantially enhance the land position at Tipicancha, which is a priority target given its strong indicators of potential porphyry source at depth.
