Based in London, United Kingdom, and founded in 2011, Aterian plc is an African-focused entity specializing in the exploration and development of mineral resources. The company primarily seeks deposits of tin, tungsten, and tantalum. Its portfolio of assets includes the Kuaka Mine, a tantalum operation located on the eastern shore of Lake Kivu, and the Huye Joint Venture, a 50/50 partnership with Dynasty Construction situated in the country's southern region. The company adopted the name Aterian plc in November 2022, having previously been known as Eastinco Mining and Exploration plc.
