Acconeer AB (publ) is a global developer of advanced radar-based sensing technologies. Their flagship offering is the A1 radar sensor, a highly precise, short-range pulsed radar unit. This compact, single-chip system-in-package (SiP) integrates both a radio and an antenna, allowing for the detection of nearby objects through individual measurements or continuous scans at frequencies reaching up to 1500 Hz. In addition to the A1 sensor, Acconeer provides several specialized modules. These include the XM132, an easily integrated radar module optimized for specific application scenarios; the XM122, a low-power, connected radar module featuring a circular form factor optimized for Internet of Things (IoT) applications; and the XM112 pulsed coherent radar module, which delivers extremely accurate, millimeter-level distance measurements at a high update frequency. For developers, the company offers the X112 development kit, comprising a connector board and a radar sensor board for application creation, alongside an A1 software development kit (SDK) that furnishes radar sensor services, detectors, and an application programming interface (API). Acconeer has also established a collaborative agreement with Alps Alpine for the research and development of their next-generation pulsed coherent radar, known as A2.
