Siemens buys Italy's MERMEC businesses to strengthen rail technology portfolio

Siemens said on Thursday ​it agreed to ‌buy several key businesses of Italian ​rail technology group ​MERMEC to strengthen its ⁠rail portfolio ​and gain market ​access to Italy.
