Disney files early broadcast licenses renewal 'under protest' against the FCC

Disney filed renewal applications for eight of its broadcast station licenses on Thursday after the Federal Communications Commission launched a review years ahead of their scheduled expiration. Disney said it was filing the applications "under protest in response to an unlawful, arbitrary, and unconstitutional order" from the FCC in late April.
