Union at Colombia's Ecopetrol launches 24-hour strike

The main union at ​Colombia's state-run oil company Ecopetrol, ‌USO, called a 24-hour strike on Tuesday to protest a deadlock in negotiations ​over the collective bargaining agreement, ​the union said in a ⁠statement.
