Babcock International: Type 31 Takes More Charges

Babcock International Group PLC is still not starting with the Indonesia contract deliveries but will be soon, and there is still hope for Denmark in FMSP. Ship 1 of the Type 31 frigate program produced another charge with prototyping learnings of GBP 140 million, but with Ship 1 in process, there is less chance of error. Ship 3 is where the economics of the program stand to improve.
