Alvopetro wins final arbitration, secures stake in Brazil's Caburé gas field

Alvopetro Energy Ltd (TSX-V:ALV, OTC:ALVOF, FRA:A6Y0) has won a final arbitration ruling that permanently secures its expanded working interest in Brazil's Caburé natural gas field, closing the door on a multi-year dispute with its joint venture partner. The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce ruled on April 27 that an independent expert's decision is "final, valid, and effective," definitively binding both parties under their Unit Operating Agreement.
