IP Group portfolio company Enterprise Therapeutics reports positive phase II results in cystic fibrosis

IP Group PLC (LSE:IPO), the London-listed science and technology investor, has flagged positive phase II trial results from portfolio company Enterprise Therapeutics for ETD001, its lead candidate for the treatment of cystic fibrosis. The trial evaluated inhaled ETD001 in the 10% of cystic fibrosis patients with the highest unmet medical need, those for whom existing treatments are least effective, and achieved its primary efficacy outcome.
