(Nasdaq: AVTX), a clinical stage biotechnology company fully dedicated to developing IL-1β based treatments for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases, today announced positive topline results from its Phase 2 LOTUS trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of abdakibart in adults with moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). The LOTUS trial successfully met its primary endpoint at both doses studied. Based on these data, Avalo plans to advance abdakibart into a registrational phase 3 program.
